Patricia is the Office Manager of Botetourt Counseling Center. She has been a resident of Botetourt County for over twenty years after relocating to the area from Christiansburg, VA. Patricia has over twenty years of office experience, including five years within the mental health field. Patricia's professional experiences have included various duties within office administration, accounts payable and receivable, marketing and management.
Greg is the Business Manager of Botetourt Counseling Center. He has a degree in Business Management with over twenty years of professional experience. Greg performed support and management roles within the banking industry for more than ten years. He has fourteen years of management experience in the mental health field. Greg also spent four years as a Professional Firefighter/EMT and is currently employed in Sales/Marketing within the health insurance industry.
Ellen is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over twenty years of mental health experience working in clinical and educational settings. She works primarily with adults, older adolescents, and seniors, and specializes in treating anxiety disorders, particularly performance-related anxiety (e.g. sports, social, public speaking). She also counsels clients with depression, self-esteem, marital and relationship concerns.
Donna is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner with over 20 years of experience providing services to children, adolescents, and adults. Donna's areas of interest and specialties include: substance abuse; adolescent and parenting issues; relationship issues; trauma and stress management. Donna is trained in several Evidence Based Treatment modalities (to include: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT) and Motivational Interviewing(MI) ) and utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Play Therapy.

Carrie is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience in counseling children, adolescents and adults. Carrie's areas of interest and specialties include treatment of ADHD, disruptive behavior/impulse control, autism spectrum disorder, attachment, stress/trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression/mood, grief/loss, self-esteem/body image, and family/relationship issues. Carrie's therapeutic style is client centered and she believes a trusting, honest and mutually respectful relationship is the key to working through problems openly. Carrie uses many types of play, art and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in hopes of building healthy, positive and appropriate coping skills and tools to help clients accomplish their goals.
Jason is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He has over twenty years of experience in treating children, adolescents and adults. He specializes in treating issues of childhood and adolescence including school performance and behavioral management strategies as well as family, marital and blended family issues.

Kim is the President of Botetourt Counseling Center. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with over twenty years of experience providing care to adults, adolescents, and children, as well as families and couples. She specializes in infant and early childhood mental health, marital and relationship issues, family and blended family issues, addictions, depression, stress and trauma issues, and workplace and job-related concerns. Kim employs a variety of therapeutic modalities including children’s play therapy.
Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience providing therapy to adults/geriatrics, adolescents, and children. Her areas of specialty include treating anxiety/depression, behavior management strategies (ADHD, ODD, and emotional problems), blended family issues, post-traumatic stress (sexual/physical abuse, rape, and other traumatic events), and treatment for self-injurious behaviors. She uses a multimodal approach combining psychotherapy and children’s play therapy.
Susan is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over thirty years’ experience in the field of mental health. She has provided individual, marital, family, and group services in numerous settings and has served as the Director of The Grief and Loss Counseling Center at Good Samaritan Hospice, as the Director of Advantage EAP at Lewis Gale Medical Center, and as the Director of Adult Outpatient Services at Blue Ridge Behavioral Health. Susan’s primary areas of interest include grief & loss (including loss of a beloved pet), spirituality, and chronic & life threatening illness, as well as depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Susan is a client centered counselor who believes strongly that providing a safe, honest, caring, and confidential environment is critical to the success of counseling and she uses a variety of therapeutic approaches to assist clients in reaching their goals.
